Formed in 1991 in the capitol district area of upstate New York, Bandolero quickly became a fan favorite on the regional country music scene, performing in upstate New York, Massachusetts and Vermont. The early nineties found them opening for national acts such as Merle Haggard, Tanya Tucker, and Lorrie Morgan. Bandolero was honored with various awards from the Northeast Country Music Association including both male and female vocalist of the year and entertainer of the year. One by one band members relocated to Nashville Tennessee to pursue individual careers. It’s there the core members of the band reunited July of 2001. Bandolero can currently be heard performing their blend of country and blues flavored originals and covers at shows and clubs around the Nashville area.
