Defcon Entertainment was orginally founded by Deron "DG" Grimmitt, Shelton "Teflon" Hunter, and Whittney "Lady-X" Simmons. Defcon is based out of Mckeesport, Pennsylvania (also known as Da Port ) but has extended it's territories to Maryland (also known as Murdaland) and D.C. (also known as the Dirty District). Defcon started out recording in DG's basement on a stereo system using cassette tapes. Soon albums such as "Rhyme and Reason" and "The Union" hit the streets of Mckeesport. Seven years strong, Defcon has recruited some of the most talented lryicists of the area and has made a name for itself all over the Pittsburgh and Maryland.
