E.R.A.

A young local band from Clairmont and Southeast San Diego. We arre completely self-contained, we write all our lyrics and manufacture all our own beats/music. Even as far as recording our own cds. Our music consists of every day life and events from growing up in a low income area to living in the suburbs. Our music features life events that we have personally experienced with a message to the upcoming teenagers (and in some cases even adults). We try to emphasis on these events for a couple of reasons: one, so as peole in higher income areas are informed to how it really is despite want some others may try to present it to be, two, to remind others that are still in this areas that you don't have to loose hope, we made it out without defying the law and you can too. We do not promote gang violence but we also do not pretend that it is not there either. Our main goal is to tell younger artists that it is ok to do your thing but don't forget about the peole who help you and always remember where you came from. Just stay true to yourself.
