One Way Out

Through local music connections and word of mouth and after contacting the Allman Brothers Band for permission, One Way Out was formed in Feb 2007 with the blessing of Kirk West, road manager of the Allman Brothers Band and Gregg Allman himself gave the thumbs up according to Kirk. After a few personell changes, the current lineup of Brad Turner on drums, Dick Hecox on bass, Steve Thorpe on Keys/Lead Vocals, Marty Goldstein on percussion and Larry Fields and Brian Butler on guitar/backing vocals has a great chemistry and is moving forward and working on building up the name in the greater Seattle/Tacoma area. Some of the current members have been in bands that shared the bill with top acts such as Ted Nugent, Southern Rock Allstars, Steppinwolf, Blue Oyster Cult, Edgar Winter, the Outlaws, Night Ranger, Rick Derringer and many more. One Way Out plays the Allman Brothers music from their beginning to the current lineup with a great selection of songs. The band's motto is "We just want to put on a great show for fans like a ourselves who embrace the Allman Brothers music. That's what music is all about...having fun".
