 Proximity is an independent Hip-Hop group based in Boulder, Colorado. They formed the group in the summer of 2000 where they started producing their own beats and writing their own songs as well as recording in a home based studio. Proximity started playing at local venues shortly after. They dropped their first album "Proximity Minds" in 2005 selling 700 copies in the first year. Proximity just dropped their latest album "When push comes to shove" in 2007. Over the years they have formed a huge following in Colorado. They are looking to do shows all over Colorado as well as all over the country. They aim to be a dominant force in the industry. Proximity does NOT do shows for free! They charge a flat rate of $300 dollars for opening slots plus accomidations if venue is more than 80 miles from the Denver metro area. Proximity desires 40-50% of ticket sales for headlining slots or a minimum of $500 dollars if ticket sales are low. Proximity is more than willing to travel out of state as long as travel fees and accomidations are covered by promoter/venue.
