ROCOCO BLUES performs a wide array of traditional American popular music: swing blues, Chicago blues, rhythm and blues, blues rock, soul, Celtic soul, Latin soul, and funk, with a bit of jazz mixed in. While paying homage to great songs and artists, Rococo Blues rarely just mimics originals, preferring instead to add its own signature to the music.
The band is composed of seven talented instrumentalists, including a hot three-piece horn section, who play sophisticated arrangements behind the two (male and female) talented, soulful vocalists and soar on instrumental solos.
Initiated in 1996, the band has grown in size, vision, and refinement over the last decade. The band features impressive musical technique while playing soulfully from the heart, producing high energy and fun shows.
