Putting the "Split" Pieces Together… Putting a jigsaw puzzle together without a clear picture of what it is “supposed” to look like is about as easy as pulling teeth with a couch cushion— tedious and frustrating. The same goes for starting a band where each piece fits... Split Ticket found its origins back in October of 2002 in Dickson, TN when self-taught musicians Michael James Kolodziej (Mike) and Justin Todd Tucker (JT) hooked up and started playing together. Through the years time has made adjustments to the band and found itself “splitting” on more than one occasion. It wasn’t till the Spring of 2006 that Michael found himself signing a production deal with Eric Reason (founder of Eric Reason Productions) to record a solo EP. Through the writning process spontaneous decisions were made to change the solo EP project to a re-birth of Split Ticket LP project and united Mike & JT then add Nick and Noah Ellis (the danger twins) to the mix.___The band went on to showcase their first show back together back in early January 2007 at the Gibson Showcase. Soon after they found their final element to the band, Wes Reason (aka Weez), which is Eric Reason’s younger brother who moved all the way from Morristown, TN to join the band...Split Ticket is back with some new faces—and some old ones, so the moral of the story is ……Rome wasn’t built in a day— neither was Split Ticket
