In 1958 by Joe Billingslea and the late Billy Gordon founded The Blenders. In 1960, the group changed its name to THE CONTOURS and signed a seven-year contract Motown Records. THE CONTOURS charted about a dozen hits in the 1960s including Motown's fastest rising hit of all time, “Do You Love Me,” in 1962. THE CONTOURS with Joe Billingslea have appeared recently on the PBS Specials, Major League Baseball's All-Star Gala and The National Football League's Super Bowl Tailgate Event. They continue to perform in the US and abroad, bringing their energetic, versatile and entertaining show to hundreds of thousands of fans every year throughout the world.
