 In early 2003 nine blues and soul players met in the vacant second story of a nondescript building in Acton, MA with a common goal: build a crack blues and soul band with a horn section that would make James, Sam & Dave and Van all smile.
From humble beginnings the Second Story Band hit the scene a year later, mixing taut horn-drenched soul and old-school R&B with classic blues. The early reviews are in: true to their roots, honoring the music, this band really blasts with a sound that's hard-driving, energetic and tight.
